Staff Planner - New Bedford
The City of New Bedford is accepting applications for Staff Planner, salary $46,853 - $58,571, in the Department of Planning, Housing and Community Development.  The Staff Planner serves as a supportive planning professional performing a variety of administrative, technical and professional tasks in providing staff support to the City Planner and Department Head.  Performs technical reviews and develops staff reports, undertakes analysis of land development applications and plans as may be assigned as staff support to the Planning Board and operation of the division. Bachelor's degree in urban or regional planning, architecture, urban design, geography or closely related discipline desirable, as well as two years of experience in urban planning or a closely related field.
