    Somerville needs a consultant team for a new McGrath Boulevard Planning Study for the neighborhoods surrounding McGrath Highway which will become an at-grade urban boulevard by MassDOT. This state project is at the 25% design stage and is scheduled to start construction in 2028.

    A team with considerable experience in community engagement, visioning, land use planning, and urban design, along with market feasibility and development potential analysis is needed to ensure the goals of SomerVision are balanced. This study will focus on physical design, both public realm and site planning, and the economic possibilities of upzoning, as well as developing the related policies.

    Melrose seeks consultant to amend its zoning ordinance to accomplish the zoning-related goals of the Housing Production Plan. Also, the project will amend the subdivision regulations to allow for development that reflects street and lot standards that are in line with the City's historic and sustainable development patterns.
